MacBook Rental

The following terms and conditions apply to all rentals with Playforce. By confirming your rental, you agree to be bound by these terms:

1. Inspection and Condition
   The renter must inspect the device upon receipt. Any defects or functional issues must be reported to rental@playforce.com.sg immediately upon receipt. Otherwise, the device will be deemed to be in good condition.
2. Reporting Damages
   If the rented device develops functional issues or performance problems during the rental period, the renter must report them to Playforce on the same day the issue occurs. Failure to do so means rental fees will continue to be charged as usual.
3. Loss of Rented Device
   In the event of a complete loss of a rented device, the renter will be charged the current market value of the device or the original retail price, whichever is lower.
4. Damage to Rented Device
   Complete Damage: If the rented device is completely damaged, the renter will be charged an amount equal to the retail cost of replacing the device.
   Repairable Damage: If the rented device can be repaired, the renter will be charged the actual repair cost, which will be determined and performed solely by Playforce’s authorised technicians. Repairs by third-party services are strictly prohibited.
5. Daily Late Return Fee
   A late fee of $100.00 per day per rented device will be charged for overdue returns. Late fees will continue to accrue until the device is returned.
6. Order Cancellation
   A 50% cancellation fee applies once the order is confirmed. If cancellation occurs within 3 days before the rental start date, a 100% fee applies. Customers may opt for a one-time reschedule at no extra charge, subject to availability.
7. Security Deposit
   The security deposit will be refunded within three (3) business days after the return of the rented device(s), provided there is no damage or loss. If damage is found, Playforce reserves the right to deduct repair costs from the deposit before refunding the balance.
